Foley Institute for Public Policy & Public Service

Public Policy Research

The Foley Institute sponsors public policy symposia featuring policy specialists, elected officials, and other experts on problems facing all levels of government. The institute also supports public policy research conferences on a wide variety of domestic and international issues.

As we move into the future, our educational institutions must facilitate a better understanding of the social, political, historical, and economic dimensions of the challenges ahead.

The Foley Institute makes Washington State University a recognized leader in developing civic literacy and a commitment to public service.

The institute is a natural extension of the land-grant mission of Washington State University and recognition of the service to nation and state of the Honorable Thomas S. Foley.
