    • About: #TrustedInfo2026 is NASS’s public education effort to promote election officials as the trusted sources of election information. The nation’s Secretaries of State, 40 of whom serve as their state’s Chief Election Official, along with other state and local election officials are continuously working to inform eligible Americans about voter registration, voting methods, security, post-election procedures, and much more. 
  • The US Election Assistance Commission, Voting 101 
    • The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) was established by the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA). The EAC is an independent, bipartisan commission charged with developing guidance to meet HAVA requirements, adopting voluntary voting system guidelines, and serving as a national clearinghouse of information on election administration. The EAC also accredits testing laboratories and certifies voting systems, as well as audits the use of HAVA funds.

  • Results that Matter: Building Trust in Elections, MIT Election Data Science Lab 
    • MEDSL’s Building Election Trust: Enhancing Election Official Capacities Through Researcher-Practitioner Partnerships program is aimed at equipping election officials with resources and information to build trust among the electorate and bolster trustworthy practices.
